Next Door!


I've just started working on idea I've been hanging onto for a long time.

I really sat with this one in development for a long time. I've built a bunch of small projects in Unity while I planned this slowly over the last year and a half and I think I'm finally ready to start the timer on getting it done. I love deadlines for some unknown reason, so I'm going to say that I'll produce something I can call complete before the end of 2018. That's an incredibly ambitious goal, but it will set a brisk pace for the challenge.

Last week, I took a long weekend and headed home to Chicago. On the way home, Monday, I started doodling a few character sketches and started modeling in Blender. Today, I started over after drawing some more and came up with this:


I'm also trying to apply User Story Mapping to the process, so I expect to show a lot more broad progress up front. The details should materialize later.
